The mission will be the 22nd flight test for the Unity and the company’s fourth crewed spaceflight. It will also be the first to carry a full crew of two pilots and four mission specialists including company founder Branson.
Virgin Galactic’s spacecraft VSS Unity is set to fly to space carrying its founder Sir Richard Branson accompanied by three company specialists and two pilots.
The flight’s three mission specialists will be Beth Moses, Chief Astronaut Instructor at Virgin Galactic, Colin Bennett, Lead Operations Engineer at Virgin Galactic and Sirisha Bandla, Vice President of Government Affairs and Research Operations at Virgin Galactic.
The pilots for the mission are Dave Mackay and Michael Masucci.
