One Killed, Three Injured in Explosion in Southeastern Iran, Report Says

According to media reports, the explosion occurred at a square in Saravan at 9:30 local time.

One person was killed and at least three others were injured in an explosion in the town of Saravan in south-eastern Iran, Tasnim reported, citing a statement issued by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).

​A video has emerged on Twitter, allegedly showing the scene of the explosion.

According to ​IRGC, the explosion was carried out by a terrorist group “affiliated with the global arrogance” (this is a term Iran uses to describe the US and its allies).

Saravan is located about 40 kilometres away from the border with Pakistan.
