Police on Friday found no explosives on board of the Jetstar Japan plane at the Japanese Narita airport after a passenger had claimed that he had a bomb, the Kyodo news agency reported.
Earlier on Friday, Kyodo reported that a passenger said he had a bomb when on board a Jetstar Japan plane.
Police arrived at the site and took the passenger off of the aircraft. The departure of the jet with 140 passengers on board was significantly delayed.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
