Like in the Good Old Days: Brazilian President Bolsonaro Wants to Go Skydiving

The politician served in the Brazilian Army for 15 years, joining the Paratrooper Brigade in Rio de Janeiro and retiring in 1988 having achieved the rank of captain.

Jair Bolsonaro has said on a Facebook live video that he plans to go skydiving, and invited several ministers with a military background to join him for “team-building”. According to 65-year-old Bolsonaro, he wanted to do it “for good old times’ sake”, as the president reminisced about his days in the military.

Bolsonaro announced that he had picked an Embraer KC-390 two-engine aircraft as the plane to perform the jump.
