Users Around the World Report YouTube Is Down

Most problems have been reported in the United States, Canada, in Europe, including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, in Brazil, and also in Australia.

Users around the globe have reported issues with the online video-sharing platform YouTube, according to the Downdetector website.

Most users – over 60 percent – have had difficulty watching videos, Downdetector says. Some 30 percent have had problems with the website itself, and around 1 percent have not been able to log in.

Netizens rushed to Twitter to comment on Thursday’s technical glitch and see if anyone else has experienced the same issues.

Most logged onto Twitter to check whether they just had bad Internet connection.

Others were devastated, apparently because they have had entertained themselves on Youtube while staying at home during the coronavirus-induced quarantine.
