Bitcoin Hits 10-Day High of $36,442

The world’s most popular cryptocurrency has surged again according to trading data, with 8% in growth coming after it was priced below $30,000 on 28 January.

Bitcoin reached the $36,442 mark on Friday, its highest price over the last 10 days, according to data from Coindesk.

The jump in price comes after Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter and tagged Bitcoin in his Twitter biography.

Shortly after Musk’s post, Bitcoin surged again, reaching a high of $37,060.

This is not the first time Elon Musk has helped to increase the price of cryptocurrencies. In December 2020, he posted a series of memes about Bitcoin and Dodgecoin, prompting the price of the latter to increase 20%.
